Leading business magazine now being printed on the Sunshine Coast
The publisher of leading business magazine, Business Matters, has today announced their commitment to move the printing of their magazine from Brisbane to the Sunshine Coast. The on average 64-page magazine which is produced on a five/six-weekly rotation will now be printed by The Inkspot in Maroochydore, who have been in operation since 1976, but who twelve months ago were taken over by Sheena and Rene den Ouden.Vickie Magic, the owner/editor and publisher of Business Matters took over the magazine in January 2010 says it has been her intention right from the start to identify a local printer and support the local economy in the process.
“For some time I have tried to find a printer on the Sunshine Coast that would print at the price we have been able to enjoy each issue in Brisbane. I am very excited that Inkspot have been able to come to the party and bring this major print run to the Coast making the magazine a Sunshine Coast written, edited, designed and now printed publication.”
Magic says they are also enthused about Inkspot Printer’s commitment to a sustainable environment. InkSpot recycle all waste paper and aluminium plates and are chemical free with their computer to plate process. They use paper from environmentally sustainable forests and soy based inks where available.
