2011 Sunshine Coast Business Expo
2011 Sunshine Coast Business Expo set to accelerate your business success.Big names, big news, big ideas, and it’s all about accelerating your business success … what is it you might be asking? It’s the 2011 Sunshine Coast Business Expo!
The expo was officially launched at a recent big lunch held at the Mooloolaba Campus of the Sunshine Coast Institute of TAFE and the big news announced at the launch was David Koch (Channel Seven’s morning Sunrise host, otherwise known as ‘Kochie’) has been secured as one of the many celebrity business gurus who will star at next year’s expo.
President of the Maroochydore Chamber of Commerce, Myles McNamara, said you can’t solve a problem with the same level of thinking that created it.
“In business, it can be challenging to find fresh and inspiring ways to make contacts and explore new opportunities without it being a time drain on yourself and your resources,” Mr McNamara said.
“Which is why so many local business owners pounced at the opportunity to be part of the Sunshine Coast Business Expo last year – and now is your chance to discover what all the fuss was about.”
The Sunshine Coast Business Expo is one of the most exciting, inclusive and engaging business events to be staged in the region. At its debut in October 2009, the Expo harnessed the energy, enthusiasm and entrepreneurial spirit of local business boasting 1500 attendees, 70 trade exhibitors, a nationally acclaimed keynote speaker, professional development workshops, seminars and valuable networking events.
In 2011, the Expo will build on this benchmark with local businesses invited to take advantage of this opportunity by becoming a sponsor or trade exhibitor of this innovative event.
The Expo will take place on Wednesday 30 and Thursday 31 March 2011 at the Mooloolaba Campus of the Sunshine Coast Institute of TAFE and a limited number of sponsorship packages are available now. This is your opportunity to build an association with the broader business community, make new contacts, increase your knowledge and receive significant regional and event exposure of your brand.
A series of educational and innovative forums, workshops and seminars designed to encourage business skills development will also be on offer, making the Expo a valuable ‘must do’ whether you’re a savvy entrepreneur or new to business.
If you would like to receive a sponsorship proposal or are interested in becoming an exhibitor, please contact the Business Expo Project Managers Kathy Contoleon on mob: 0434 531 207 or Amber James on mob: 0403 000 330.
