Suzanne Viant will exchange the daily grind of financial services at a FTSE 100 company for the groves of academe tomorrow.
The Hargreaves Lansdown HR executive will be spending four days at Henley Business School, part of the two-year, part-time MA in leadership she started last October.
Viant, 45, was the winner of last year’s Sunday Times/Henley Business School Leaders Scholarship.
Today we launch the essay competition for this year’s scholarship. “Leadership development is lifelong,” said Viant. “You owe it to yourself, your team and your organisation to continue personal development to be a great leader.”
Jean-Anne Stewart, the course director, said: “This gives students the confidence to apply different models of leadership in their work.”
